Finding Our Peace (Day)

PGIA and Montessori students celebrated International Day of Peace with dual assemblies on Thursday. In the PGIA, seniors taught their peers about the different types of human rights, and the Montessori MMUN group presented about different global issues. We also recognized our student athletes and enjoyed comedy by Rowan! PGIA photos by Natasha Webster and Amelie Zucker.
Meanwhile, young Montessorians gathered under the solar awning to formed a peace sign in their sitting formation, recited poetry, and sang together in their first assembly of year. Thanks to Ms. Byrd and Ms. Sloan for leading!
