Celebrating Fall with Arts, Crafts, and a Hearty Meal

Just before break, 4th and 5th graders ushered in fall with an afternoon of arts and crafts, as well as great food mixed with a bit of history.

There were 5 stations:  Coffee Filter Leaves, Grape Stomping, Lantern Crafting, Salt Skulls, Scratch and Color, and a Harvest Feast.  Each station was manned by one of our wonderful parent volunteers.  While eating at the station for harvest feast, they learned a little about the celebration of Thanksgiving.  Everyone was fascinated with the history of stomping grapes!  A good time was had by all.
