Flexing Our Special Skills
/Flex Block is a key component of the Volts Wednesday program in the PGIA. During this 40 minute block students are able to get the academic support they need, which varies from student to student. This week, all middle school students participated in digital literacy sessions designed to build skills that will help them in school and in life. Meanwhile, 11th and 12th grade students worked in structured study hall, participating in study circles with other students who had similar tasks to complete.
Other students are part of 5-week sessions focused on advanced writing skills, Creativity, Activity, and Service projects (CAS), or focused diploma program Biology support.
In the PGIA, we strive to see every student as an individual and support their unique needs and interests. Our Volts Wednesday program is an integral part of that effort and we are immensely grateful for our dedicated faculty who go above and beyond to make it happen!
