Marta Valenzuela, who just left St. Thomas after spending six weeks here as part of the Eurocolegio Casvi Boadilla exchange program from Spain, explained to me how visiting this island and our school was one of the most rewarding experiences of her life.
”I can’t think of a better way to have started 2024,” she says.
One reason for this is that she had never stayed in another country for so long. She added that our school is different from CasVi Boadilla in many ways. One of the biggest is that we’re surrounded by natural elements such as plants and animals in the PGIA. Also, the PGIA has the classes dance and drama, while CasVi does not.
Marta says that students at our school are warm, caring, and welcoming, and have made her and the rest of the exchange students all feel at home. Her favorite food she tried here was jerk chicken, and her favorite activities were snorkeling and sailing. And of course, she would love to come back because there is still so much to explore.
