Thanks so much!
Girls Soccer with Señor
3rd through 6th year girls, this is your chance to learn from Señor without those pesky boys bugging you! The more the merrier with sports, so please consider this option. There will be competitive elementary girls soccer in the spring, so these young ladies will constitute our Volts Elementary Girls Soccer Team and be defending their 1st place title from last year! There is so much soccer on island, but not that much opportunity for only girls - so these young athletes need to be able to compete with the boys. Having this one on one time with Señor will certainly help these athletes develop their skills to better prepare themselves for the level of play they will be facing in JV and Varsity.
Elementary Basketball
Upper Elementary athletes, we finally have the basketball program everyone has been wanting. The more the merrier for sports, so please consider this option. Coach Stocking is a very experience basketball coach who will provide great skills development for our elementary team. This group will be the Volts Elementary Basketball team which will compete later this semester. We have 5 athletes, but that’s a pretty small bball team - please think about it!
Spanish FUN!
Bennet Ott, who teaches Montessori and PGIA Spanish, is excited to explore music and a variety of other activities with the students - all in Spanish. This class is expanded from last semester’s Music in Spanish to include a variety of other activities - all with Spanish Language infusion. Gardening, dance, cooking and more - all in Spanish. What a great way to expand your child’s Spanish vocabulary while doing fun things!
Jazz Dance for Lower Elementary
Ms. Mary Capellas, former Rockette, choreographer and most importantly Sylvia and Gregory’s mom - teaches this new addition to our dance offerings. Jazz for Lower El. This can roll into a full six years of jazz for your aspiring dancer - as there is already an Upper El offering from Ms. Mary. The session will culminate in May with Spring Magic - our VIMSIA dance recital.
