Experiential Learning
Both the Montessori and International Baccalaureate pedagogies have a focus on learning by doing, and reflecting on work done with the hands. Whether it is a PGIA design class and their cardboard boat race at Sapphire, or a Montessori Primary student tracing sandpaper letters with their finger - our school focuses on the act of learning by doing.
One of the programs that we developed that is unique to our school, End Session, also focuses heavily on learning through your experiences. Traveling across the globe, across the island or into the sea - we foster an environment that allows our students the joy of accomplishing something. No wonder they become life-long learners.
